Notes on Research.

Reference Point projects start with research. That means intensive observation of systems, human behavior, and listening to what people say – and do not say.

There is no *one* way to determine what to research, and how. We often look outside the narrow field of design for better answers to the challenges that confront us.

Case study: Superbubble

I see behavioural economics as one of the most useful ways to understand and shape humanity’s future. In recent years I also researched the key events in modern economic history. This is *the* place to understand the past, present, and future our global monetary system.

This case study shows that research in under-explored of areas can be incredibly fruitful. It led to the ongoing Superbubble project.
